If they were going to take the title from Cesaro, I’m glad it was so Kofi could hand it to Ambrose. I do think Cesaro/Ambrose would have been an even better match by far but then again why would those two fight? They’re both bad guys! It’s not like they get paid to wrestle and are supposedly getting paid more for winning titles. That just wouldn’t make sense that two bad guys would be willing to fight each other for acclaim and money. Better let a good guy hand him the title so that we can all follow this very complicated story of “guy wants to be champion because he’s good at wrestling.

I guess I can only expect so much honesty and reason from two guys who just get everything they want. Imagine if Willy Wonka opened his factory and Veruca Salt won every Golden Ticket. That’d be the WWE main event scene. CM Punk would be Charlie, his Grandpa would be Colt Cabana and they’d have to fart a bunch to keep from being chewed up in Vince McMahon’s ceiling fans.
So where’s the line, here? What’s the truth? The truth is that I hate Jerry Lawler and don’t want him back in the announce booth, and that whether he can still go or not, a 62-year old man should not be bumping and working a tag match on television. The other truth is that the thought of losing him like this tears me up inside, and that no matter how many asinine, destructive things he says to make my wrestling experience worse, he’s a wrestler, and I love him, and I want him to be okay. I don’t want him to die. I don’t want the guy who got hit by a car or got cussed out by Andy Kaufman or feuded with Batman or piledrove Superstar Billy Graham to be gone. I don’t want The King Of Memphis, Tennessee, to be another barely-researched statistic about wrestler deaths on Nancy Grace. I don’t want all the people who care about him to be in pain. I don’t want Michael Cole’s voice to hurt like that anymore. I don’t want Jim Ross’s hands to shake. I don’t want it.

I don’t understand his motivations anymore. At first he had the legitimate grip of “I’m here every week, Rock isn’t” and “just because I wear a red shirt doesn’t make me a gay six-year old”. But then he put on a black shirt, traded in his decade-old jorts for some camo shorts (just like the ones Rock wears as Roadblock in G.I. Joe 2: Major Bludd Rising) and asked the Rock to be his tag team partner because he’s “fantastic”. Rock beats him up, Cena justifies it and takes it out on Miz and R-Truth. And you know, it’s exactly the same thing he did with CM Punk over the summer. He got this weird man-crush on Punk and started telling people how great Punk was even when Punk would beat the dogsh*t out of him, then take it out on Alberto Del Rio for no reason. Cena is an abused girlfriend and I hate it, because he’s beautiful and should learn to love himself and leave that asshole.
